The story involves Fuu, an innocent elementary school student, and her older sister, Rui, a diligent middle school student. Fuu and Rui used to be very close, but they've been growing apart recently. One day, Fuu encounters a mysterious spaceship and is granted magical powers. Rui also acquires magical powers, and they both gain the ability to transform into the adults that they've dreamed of becoming. The magic comes with two conditions: it only lasts for a year, and nobody can know about their magic. Unaware of their respective secrets, soon Fuu (as Lilly) and Rui (as Lulu) end up debuting as idol singers at the company Production Once More in their grown-up forms.
Fuu Nonoyama
Fuu Nonoyama is just your average elemetary school student, she loves Kabappy and hates homework. when she was younger, she loved listening to Rui's singing! However, Fuu and Rui drifted apart after Rui came down with an illness that left her in the hospital for a long time, causing Rui to lose her spark. Fuu just wants to see her beloved older sister happy again, and that wish is what helps her use her magic! She can be rather reckless with her magic, and her spells don't always work the way she wants them to. In her grown-up form, she is known as Lilly, with her stage name being CompatoLilly!
Rui Nonoyama
Rui is Fuu's older sister, and a hardworking middle-school student. after coming down with a serious illness, she had to be kept in the hostpital for a while. after Rui was discharged, she became quiet and started playing with Fuu a lot less, spending all her time studying instead. when she and Fuu where younger, Rui would sing for Fuu. After hearing Lilly's singing, Rui was reminded of how much she loved singing, and wished she could sing again. This wish is what gave her magic. In her grown-up form, she is known as Lulu, with her stage name being MashuLulu!
